Editorial review policy

How we research and write reviews, how scores are decided, and how we keep funding separate from editorial judgement.

Our reviews are our own work

Every review on this site is written by the editorial team as an original assessment. We do not republish operator press material as though it were independent comment, and we do not invent customer testimonials, names, photos or personal stories. Where we describe a brand, we describe what we observed.

How operators are compared

Brands are assessed against a single, consistent checklist covering offer clarity, payments, game range, mobile play, terms transparency and safer-gambling tools. Applying the same checks to each operator is what makes the scores comparable. The full breakdown lives on our How We Compare page.

How scores are decided

A score out of ten summarises performance across those checks, with more weight given to the areas that affect players most directly. It is an editorial opinion. It is not official, not endorsed by any regulator, and it does not predict or guarantee winnings, payouts or account approval.

Independence from funding

The site is funded by affiliate commission, but commercial arrangements have no bearing on scores or placement. Operators cannot pay to raise a score or move up the comparison. If a relationship ever changes how a brand appears, that would be a placement label, never a hidden adjustment to the editorial verdict.

Accuracy and updates

Online casinos change their offers, terms and features regularly. We review entries periodically, but details can move faster than any comparison site. That is why every review tells you to confirm the current terms on the operator's own site before you act.

Found something wrong? If a review is out of date or inaccurate, please tell us through the contact page and we will check it.

What we will not do

  • Claim any casino is officially “the best”.
  • Promise winnings, guaranteed payouts or approval.
  • Present gambling as a way to make money.
  • Use fabricated review counts or invented people.
